Rated safest and best for hardwood floors-
Ultra Premium and Superior-Shop now
www.rugpadcorner.com

There are two rug pads that stand out among any other as being the best rug pads for hardwood floors. A hardwood floor is an investment and while there are rug pads that claim to be rated for hardwood floors, many times this is not true. Many hardwood floor rug pads can cause damage to the floor. Two rug pads stand out among the crowd of rug pads as being the best and safest rug pads for hardwood floors. These two rug pads are available only at Rug pad Corner and are Ultra Premium and Superior rug pads for hardwood floors and other floor types.

Rug Pad Corner is considered the nation’s source for quality rug pads, and for good reason. the company stresses quality and only offers rug pads that are safe for all rugs and for all floors, including, but not limited to, hardwood floors. The company has two long standing rug pads that have been popular for many years. Ultra Premium is a felt and natural rubber rug pad that is an excellent hardwood floor rug pad when slipping is an issue. Ultra Premium protects rug and floor and prevents slipping as well. Superior is an all felt rug pad that is not meant to prevent slipping, so it is great for either larger rugs, heavier rugs or rugs with furniture on them.

Ultra Premium is rated as best and safest non-slip rug pad for hardwood floors

Ultra Premium as Best Non-Slip Hardwood Floor Rug Pad
As far as non-slip rug pads go, get rid of those waffle looking plastic pads that inevitably will stick to your hardwood floor. Ultra Premium is the choice for a non-slip rug pad on your hardwood floor. The surface of Ultra Premium is a recycled felt and the lower surface, the part that sits on the hardwood floor, is a 100% natural, untreated rubber. Yes, rare to find, yet this is the real deal-all natural rubber that is not treated with adhesives or chemicals that can stick to or stain the hardwood floor. Rug Pad Corner goes a very long way to make sure your hardwood floors are safe and the company even chooses to attach the rubber to the felt with heat, not with glues or adhesives like other rug pad companies. The rubber is heat pressed to the felt to eliminate anything that can harm the hardwood floor. This is what makes Ultra Premium the best non-slip rug pad for hardwood floors.

Superior as Best All Felt Hardwood Floor Rug Pad
Now, if you don’t have a rug slipping issue, then Superior felt rug pad is your choice. Superior is made of 100% recycled felt that is compressed through a needle punching process and then a heat pressing process. Most felt rug pads contain an adhesive coating on top and bottom to keep the felt together. Well, with some extra effort, this adhesive is not found in Superior, which is why it is considered the best felt rug pad for all hardwood floors. The heat pressing process keeps the felt together into a dense pile and makes Superior the felt rug pad of choice over any type of hardwood floor. And, since there are no chemicals, adhesives or glues, Superior rug pad does not smell like other chemical smelling rug pads! A very nice treat!

Rug Pad Corner has your hardwood floors covered and protected. Both Ultra Premium and Superior are made in the USA with American products and are here to stay. The company believes that when it comes to hardwood floors, it doesn’t pay to skimp on the rug pad. Paying a little more now for a quality hardwood floor rug pad will protect your investment for years to come. The money one can save on a lower quality rug pad can add to much more expense in the future to repair hardwood floor from costly damage.

In the world of non-slip rug pads, one of the most common thoughts is of that waffle looking, thin rug pad available in all of the big box stores. Well, while this type of rug pad may be inexpensive and may prevent slipping, it is a far cry from bing one of the better non-slip rug pads for all wood floors.

A close look shows attention to detail in the rubber surface of Ultra Premium, making it the best non-slip rug pad for wood floors.

Ultra Premium felt and natural rubber rug pad is one rug pad that was recently rated as best non-slip rug pad for wood floors. In terms of wood floors, Ultra Premium is rated as best pad for hardwood floors, laminate floors, engineered floors and all types of wood floors. The reasons of this excellent rating are obvious: Ultra premium is made in the USA of natural materials that are completely safe for all wood floors.

Rug Pad Corner, the nation’s source for quality rug pads and the supplier of Ultra Premium, asked hundreds of customers to rate Ultra Premium rug pad as a rug pad for wood floors. All customers remarked at how surprised they were at how well this rug pad was made and how well Ultra Premium performed on the floor.

The differences between Ultra Premium rug pad for wood floors and other non-slip rug pads are very evident. Ultra Premium contains a combination of a recycled felt surface and a 100% natural rubber lower surface. It is this rubber that makes Ultra Premium one of the best non-slip rug pads for wood floors. First of all, this is real rubber and not imitation rubber like others. Th rubber is adhered to the felt with a heat pressing process, eliminating the use of glues or adhesives. Other rubber-like rug pads are mainly plastic that is treated with a chemical adhesive and it is the adhesive that transfers to the wood floor.

On a performance level, Ultra Premium provides the maximum non-slip function with the help of its textured rubber. A close look will show a very unique texture within the rubber surface and it is this texture that puts more rubber in contact with more wood floor, creating maximum non-slip protection. Again, real rubber is safe for wood floors and the rubber in Ultra Premium rug pad is what makes this pad completely safe for all wood floors.

Rug Pad Corner is proud to offer Ultra Premium rug pad for wood and hardwood floors in any size imaginable. Ultra Premium can be custom ordered in any size and shapes, ships within 2 business days and ships for free within the contiguous United States.

For the fourth time in a month, the lovely woman customer requested another Superior recycled felt jute rug pad. I had to ask what drove her to this rug pad and her answer did not surprise me.

The first rug pad she bought arrived quickly and when she placed it under her fmaily room rug, she immediately noticed the rug come to life. This, along with the fact that her kids roll around on the floor all the time, really made her a believer in this recycled felt jute rug pad.

She had done a lot of research for a rug pad in order to avoid anything with chemicals and she found this felt rug pad. She initially only ordered one to test it and she was immediately sold. Since her first Superior rug pad, she is going on number 4 based on the rugs in her home, and one that she recently purchased.

The comfort is amazing, the quality and protection seem unmatched and the fact that it does not have an odor, made this Superior felt jute rug pad a winner in her home.

Rug pads are meant to prolong the life of a rug while protecting your family and your floor. There are plenty of rug pads on the market that can be used on hardwood floors yet there are some rug pads that may eventually harm your floors as well.

The right rubber pad is safe for hardwood floors. The thing to consider when looking for a rug pad containing rubber is to make sure the layer of rubber on the pad is a natural, solid layer of rubber. I say this because many pads on the market claim to have solid rubber and are really a sprayed on layer of latex. This may cause damage to hardwood floors and I’ll tell you why.

The top part of a jute and rubber pad is a compressed synthetic jute material. A common procedure now is to spray a latex on the back of this jute. The problem with this spray is that it does not adhere very well to the pad and eventually rubs off onto the hardwood or hard floor surface that it sits on. This may lead to crumbling of the rubber or in some conditions, to marking the floor.

The best quality jute and rubber rug pad is one in which the solid layer of rubber is sewn on to the jute layer. This sewing process keeps the rubber intact with the rest of the pad and prevents any harm to your floors. This type of pad may cost a little more yet it is well worth it to protect your hardwood floors for years to come.

For your areas that do not require non slip functions, a quality jute rug pad is excellent. Here, there is never any harm to any hard floor surface. A good 40 ounce recycled jute pad prolongs the life of the rug while also protecting the hardwood floor. There are different qualities of jute rug pads and the best is a 40 ounce density as this quality jute pad is dense enough not to shed.

We all have seen those waffle like non slip pads and somehow they tend to look the same. There is a difference. Here, be careful to stay away from the ones that are almost paper thin. This type of non slip pad does not retain its non slip quality for long and is known to stick to hardwood floors. Perhap the best thinner non slip pads is a 1/8 of an inch thick organic polymer rug pad that truly holds rugs down without marking your floors. Use this type of pad where thickness is an issue in places such as hallways with doors opening up over your rug, etc. One store, Rug Pad Corner, offers more on the best rug pads.

I have now experienced what others have talked about when they say their rug pad stuck to their floor! A few years ago when buying my rug online, it came with a “free” rug pad. This rug pad was paper thin with holes in it so I figured I would place it under my rug. Well, now, almost two years later, I am presented with a grid design stuck to my hardwood floor from this rug pad.

After calling a few dealers and reading online, I realized that this “free” pad was coated with an adhesive, like many are, to give it a non slip effect. this coating rubbed off to my floor and after spending the money to refinish the floor, I am done with so called “free” rug pads.

There is a jute rug pad that I noticed that was offered as 100% recycled fibers with no chemicals or adhesives at all. It also stated that it is safe for all hardwood and laminate floors. After calling and confirming all of this, I ordered my 9′x12′ jute rug pad from Rug Pad Corner.

Well, I am no expert but I know enough to determine that this recycled jute rug pad truly does not contain any adhesive, jute by the look and feel of it. What a difference between this rug pad and the thin waffle like one that it is replacing. This Superior jute rug pad is what they term as a 40 ounce quality and seems to be everything as described on their web site. It is truly odor free and a very substantial rug pad, enough to convince me that this jute rug pad will be good for my rug and my floor.

I have since ordered two more jute rug pads to use in other rooms and this is one great product. It should be noted that this is not a non slip pad so if you have some rugs that slide, try a good non slip pad and try to stay away from those “free” waffle looking pads!
